KAJC
is a non-profit, listener supported radio ministry, established by CSN International,
which was originally Creative Christian Ministries, a California Non-Profit,
incorporated in 1983. In 1996 CSN International purchased time on KAWZ and
its translator network and began to air The Word For Today with Pastor Chuck
Smith and like minded ministries, including many Calvary Chapel ministries. KAJC is being
acquired by the Calvary Radio Network, along with many other CSN stations. We expect some
programming changes along with the new ownership. In coming
months, KAJC will change its licensed community from Salem to Millersburg, and
simultaneously increase power and move to a new transmitter site in the
Cascade foothills, east of Scio. This will enable the station to reach about
300% greater population. Albany and Corvallis should have a much stronger
signal. Unfortunately, some communities we presently serve (including Monmouth,
Independence, and Dallas) will experience a significant reduction in the
signal level. We hope KAJC
has been a blessing to you. |
